Retract Altitude
Cycles: All Standard Cycles, All Manual Cycles
Definition
Definition of the movements done between two passes in Z.
Six possibilities are offered, they are explained in the following examples.
This is also valid for the Facing Pocket only if there are more than one zone for the facing cycle. This parameter allows you to select the management of the altitude of the retraction point before performing rapid movements. The rapid movements between each zone will have the following possibilities:
A : Rapid plane
B : Safety distance
C : Altitude (altitude defined in the selection dialog box)
Rapid motions | |
Feedrate motions |
Altitude + SD | Rapid plane | Depth + SD |
Without retract | Direct altitude + SD | Altitude + SD, rapid plane |
As from V6.10, we have a new behaviour for the Altitude + SD option. With Contouring cycle, when we program several lateral passes, the retract between them is now realized in G00 movement. You can watch a video to see how the parameters is working. |
