Definition

this option optimizes the toolpath by giving a rotary toolpath which reduces the rapid retracts, with still the respect of machining direction. If the direction of machining is forced to down or conventional, ability to program rapid path by turning around the part. The machining time is saved up to 25%.

 At least one side of the profile must be opened. The option does not work if the profile is closed.

No: the rapid paths are programmed in the direction of the feed paths.

Yes: the rapid paths are programmed by turning around the part. They are much shorter in that case.

However, the feedrate time is often increased, more or less regarding the shape of the part. We advise you to check closely the difference between the 2 modes.
