This safety distance is relative to rapid leadin and leadout only. This value is calculated according to the stock. The Safety distance in Z, declared in the page Movement, is defined on each pass. 

Safety distance in X for rapids

Value calculated according to the stock. As shown on the image on the right, if it does exist, the safety distance in X is included in the safety distance in X for rapids.
