Approach and Retract Distances

Definition

These options enable to add safety motions at the beginning and at the end of each toolpath.

• This distance is the moment when the compensation is taken, if it is defined in strategy (Offset).

• This motion is programmed in working feedrate, defined in the page technology.

• The approach distance is always defined at 90° according to the geometry. The retract distance is automatical.

Approach and retract distances set to 5 mm.	These options can be combined with a leadin radius. Here, the radius is partial, with a 45° angle.
