Maximum Tilting Angle

The purpose to define a tilting angle in this cycle is to avoid machining with the tool center. The tilting angle enables to machine with the side of the the tool tip.

The tilting angle is variable, it changes all along the toolpath according to the shape machined.

This is why you do not define a constant value but a maximum value.

If you enter 10, it means that the tilting angle will vary from 0° to 10°.
