Plunge and Retract Angles
Cycle: W type Grooving
Definition
These angles enable a better protection of the tool in the W type Grooving.
Instead of plunging and retracting vertically, you can define 2 different angles:
Plunge angle enables to lead in the material with a smooth toolpath
Retract angle avoids the tool wearing out the flank of the groove when retracting
Plunge angle (A) is 20°, Retract angle (B) is 5°.
