Cycle: Threading
Definition
It allows the programming of several XY passes to thread a hole.
If the thickness is set to 0, one only pass at final diameter is programmed. But in some cases, where there is more material to leave, several passes is programed.
Thickness at diameter
It is the difference between the final diameter and the diameter already machined.
If the thickness to remove is 5 mm on the flank, then enter 10 in the field.
Increment at diameter
It is the thickness of material removed in =one turn.
If 2 mm between two passes in XY is required, enter 4 in the field.
