Thickness and Increment at Diameter
Cycle: Threading
Definition
Ability to program several XY passes to thread a hole.
If the thickness is set to 0, one only pass at final diameter is programmed. But in some cases, where there is more material to leave, you need to program several passes.
Thickness at diameter
It is the difference between the final diameter and the diameter already machined.
If the thickness to remove is 5 mm on the flank, you have enter 10 in the field.
Increment at diameter
It is the thickness of material removed in 1 turn.
If you want 2 mm between 2 passes in XY, you have to enter 4 in the field.
