Management of the approach and return movements of the tool following Z axis.

Rapid plane altitude

This altitude is taken into account depending on the option used for approach and retract altitudes. The rapid plane altitude is linked in absolute to the Z reference (Z0). It can be positive or negative.

You can define the rapid plane altitude by recovering a value on the geometry. For this, click the icon

and then click on the geometry to select an altitude.

Safety distance

This distance corresponds to the safety margin for rapid movements. The security distance is linked to the altitude of the material and it is always positive.

You can define the approach and return movements among several possibilities:

Approach Altitude

Retract Altitude

Return Altitude
