The modules and options of GO2cam

GO2cam is a wide-range CADCAM software for Milling, Turning, Swiss Machining and Wire-Cut EDM.

GO2cam is composed of several modules and offers many complementary options.

The Modules

GO2cam modules are directly linked to the machining technologies. Each module is offered in several packages defined according to the machine kinematics and capabilities.

  • Dynamic Simulation: with material removal and detection of collisions.

  • Standard Workshop Documentation: (needs ©Excel or ©Acrobat PDF).

  • Standard Post-processors

  • NC editor.

Specific environments accessible from Homepage:

  • Layout Design/Dimensioning: setting of texts, dimensions, annotations, title blocks etc.

  • Forming Tools and tools Libraries: definition of standard tools and tools families, design of forming tools, design of toolholders.

  • Clamping/Toolholders: module of creation of work-holding devices and clamping elements, creation of toolholders from CAD files.

  • Creation of Machine Components

CAD Interfaces

Many CAD interfaces are available as options. Check the list here: List of CAD interfaces

  • DXF/DWG are included in all products and packages,

  • iges is included in all products and packages,

  • step is included in all packages with solid kernel.

  • dataGO is an option that enable the reading and associativity with the main CAD systems.

  • Probing: operations of alignment of part, origin on stock and control of part

  • Machine Tool Environment (MTE): preparation of the tools, control and simulation in the realistic machine environment.

  • General Machining Features (GMF): automation of machining process by recognizing topology of solid parts and assignment of opelists for stock-based operations, pocketting, holes and deburring.

  • Holes Machining Features (HMF): machining of holes, creation of users templates, etc.

  • Gundrilling: machining of deep holes with management of intersections and cavities.

  • Deburring: automatic deburring of parts with 3 axis strategy

  • 4 axis milling: machining cycles for 4 axis machine.

  • 5 axis milling: machining cycles for 5 axis machine.

  • 5 axis Swarf: single cycle for swarf cutting in 5 axis

  • 5 axis Expert: machining cycles for 4 and 5 simultaneous axis

  • 5 axis Deburring: automatic deburring of parts with 5 axis strategy

  • 5 axis Multi-Blades Classic: machining of multiple blades

  • 5 axis Multi-Blades Expert: machining of multiple blades

  • 5 axis Port Machining (option of 5 axis expert).

  • millyuGO©: high-efficiency roughing cycle with anticipative manufacturing for finishing operation.

  • Swiss Turning Tools Manufacturer (STTM): design and machining of swiss turning tools in Wire EDM.

  • Nesting: nesting of parts in Wire EDM and Milling.

  • User Workshop Documents: creation and customization of templates for Workshop Documents

  • NC Control: real NC code simulation inside our MTE module
