Profile Projection

Allows machining by projection of one or more profiles on the model. The profile to be projected is arbitrary and may include sharp angles.

Key Points

  • The machining will respect the shapes projected onto the solid.

  • 2 types of toolpaths:

    • One follows the profile in center tool

    • The second one creates a perpendicular sweeping.

  • Only one toolpath

  • Machining of slot: no interference due to the solid quality
