Complementary information

This kind of vice gives the possibility to invert the jaw and have another tightening position.

It is possible to configure it in the same symbol. To do this, follow the next steps.

Open the previous vice

Add mobile element without solid.
Then click the face as vector.

att_27_for_2839281736.png

Invert the direction of the vector to set the movement opposite to the selected face.

att_16_for_2839281736.png

Check the “Opposite tightening” option to invert the display of the vector.

The color of the vector changes and the display is inverted.

Then validate the new mobile element.

Key points

  • The system of axis 0 will be mounted on the work assembly support of the machine.

  • The system of axis 1 will be used to position the vise on the stock.

  • It will have two mobile elements.

  • The mobile elements must be linked to move together.

You can define more than one system of axis to position the vise on the stock. To do this, add system of axis.
