Wizard
Presentation
Definition : copy of the creation attributes of a selected entity. |
If you click on an element, you activate the corresponding function with the same attributes of creation.
e.g. : if you click on a yellow and thin segment, you activate the segment function and you are ready to draw a yellow and thin segment.
You can select any kind of entity, geometry or machining cycle.
Using the wizard to copy machining references
Two types of copy can be done :
Copy a reference then choose a strategy and a tool
Copy a technology (cycle + tool) and apply it on a new reference
1. Copy a reference
Choose the machining menu needed
Click on the Geometry selection icon
Click on the Wizard icon
In the machining tree, click on the line Reference of the cycle to copy ; the corresponding profile is selected and the selection icon runs green.
Choose the cycle and the tool
Note : this procedure is particularly interesting for the rework cycles (pocket rework, finish rework and contour rework) ; the reference diameter and stock allowances are automatically read by GO2cam in the reference cycle and applied in the rework cycle ; in this case select the strategy and the tool before selecting the geometry. |
2. Copy a technology
Click on the Wizard icon
In the machining tree, click on the Cycle to copy ; the cycle and the tool icons run green (or orange) and you are ready to select a profile where to apply this technology.
