Auto Equidistant

Used to machine the remaining material left on the part by a hemispherical reference tool (ball mill cutter) like an Equidistant finishing cycle. Automatic determination of unmachined areas in the interior corners of the part.

Key Points

  • The 'Auto' cycles need the reference diameter and radius to be entered (for the semi-finishing cycles).

  • Scallop managed correctly.

  • Minimum rapid motions.

  • Allows in some cases to take the radius from the outside to the inside.

  • Ability to define a limitation profile to target one or more areas.
