Parallel Roughing

This cycle is a multi-use operation; it manages outside straight toolpath, but also facing, inside reaming and even back facing machining.

The passes stay parallel to the selected profile while the cycle Roughing generates a toolpath parallel to the axis.

Key Points

This cycle offers many technical options:

  • management of different types of toolpaths (P point, Tool Center, etc.),

  • passes can be calculated according to several modes: offset of profile, X translation or Z translation.

  • management of subpockets,

  • chip-breaking options, etc.
