Cycles: All General Operations
In the roughing and finishing operations, you can choose to machine or avoid the grooves (undercut) of the geometry.
You also have the possibility to determine a minimum value of groove that you allow to be machined. For example, if you enter 10 mm, all the grooves which width is equal or inferior will not be machined.

Please note that the toolpath done while going down the groove is determined by several parameters:
-
the shape of tool insert: result will be different with a C, a D or other inserts,
-
the front and the back angle clearances that are safety angles defined to protect the tool insert.
