Eccentric Roughing

cbl51-20260225-110022.png

Eccentric turning cycles are used to machine features whose axis is offset from the main spindle axis (eccentric diameters or shoulders). The cycle automatically manages the radial offset, tool approach/return, and synchronized spindle motion to generate a precise toolpath around the eccentric center. Use it to rough and finish off-center features efficiently while maintaining correct clearances and collision safety.

Key Points

Automatically generates safe, optimized toolpaths for off-center features by managing radial offset, synchronized spindle motion, and approach/return moves.
