Finish Contour

This cycle is a contouring cycle with compensation done after a pocket roughing. It is based on the geometry shown while selecting the pocket cycle.

Classic process for pocket machining: Pocket (or Pocket+Contour) + Pocket Rework + maybe Finish Contour.

Key points

  • Automatic and safety calculation of the lead in and lead out of the tool.

  • Organization: ability to machine multiple pockets and subpockets by pockets, by areas or by Z levels.

  • Continuous plunge mode: if Yes is chosen, ability to program a last pass at the bottom.
