Import from Another Version - Recovery of Users Data
 | As from version V6.11 of GO2cam, upon the first installation of the new version, users will automatically be prompted by a dialog window to allow them to choose files to be imported from the previous version. The user can choose the software version from which to import. Note that the version choice is from V6.10. [1] By checking the Import configurations box, the user can also import configurations such as custom toolbars, menus, themes, etc. [2] As for the files to import, a list of the available folders together with their locations is listed in a table format. The user can either select all or individually select which folders to target for import of the files. [3] |  |
| If the user wants to re-access the import dialog, the command Import from another version is available under the Tools tab as shown in the image to the right. |  |

There is a limitation about data saved out of the GO2cam installation directory which cannot be recovered this way.
For instance, data archived on network disks cannot be recovered by the application.
