Extend Profile / Change Start Point

This command enables two types of modifications of profiles:

Extend profile (open profiles only): it enables the creation of custom lead in, lead out, and corner radii. Watch the video dedicated to this option.
Change start point (closed profiles only): it enables the modification of the start/end point of the operation after computing.

This function allows to define custom toolpaths for lead in and lead out without having to draw the wireframe geometry.

Extend Profile only works on open profiles. It is available in milling, turning and wire-cut EDM.

This function allows to modify the starting point of a profile, while creating or editing the profile. Simply click the new chosen point.

Change Start Point only works on closed profiles. It is available in milling, turning and wire-cut EDM.

Please note that in the turning module, the change start point cannot be applied on turning operations, that are always defined on open profiles!
