Extend Profile / Change Start Point

This command enables 2 types of modifications of profiles:

Extend profile: runs on open profiles only and enable the definition of custom lead in, lead out, and corner radii. Watch the video dedicated to this option.
Change start point: runs on closed profiles only and enable to modify the start/end point of the operation

This function allows to define custom toolpaths for lead in and lead out without having to draw the wireframe geometry.

Extend Profile only works on open profiles. It is available in milling, turning and wire-cut EDM.

This function allows to modify the starting point of a profile, while creating or editing the profile. Simply click the new chosen point.

Change Start Point only works on closed profiles. It is available in milling, turning and wire-cut EDM.

Please not that in the turning module, the change start point cannot be applied on turning operations, that are always defined on open profiles!
