Creation - Wireframe

Presentation

This menus gathers a set of basic commands dedicated to wireframe design. With them, you are able to draw the major part of draft.

List of Commands

Point – Draw a point by entering a coordinate or by clicking a special point (extremity, midpoint, intersection…) It is also possible to click 2 entities to create their intersection point.

30514-20240220-093208.png

Relative point – Draws a relative point. Click the first point to define the origin, then click the position of point.

30511-20240220-093214.png

Coefficient Point – Draws a point on an entity. Click the entity then define the position of point (% or distance).

30513-20240220-093206.png

Midpoint – Draws a midpoint between 2 points, centers or extremities. Click each point to create the midpoint of the 2.

211-20240220-093214.png

Line - Draw a line. Click 2 points on the screen. It is possible to click on existing entities to define constraints of parallelism, tangency or perpendicularity.

232-20240220-093206.png

Center Circle – Draw a circle defined by its center and its radius.

30506-20240220-093212.png

2 Points Circle – Circle going through 2 pts defined: by their coordinate, by clicking a point (or intersection or extremity), by tangency.

30507-20240220-093214.png

3 Points Circle – Circle going through 3 pts defined: by their coordinates, by clicking a point (or intersection or extremity) by tangency.

231rpe-20240220-093214.png

Predefined Circle – Draw a circle by its center and predefined radius.

213-20240220-093214.png

Segment - Draw a segment. Click 2 points on the screen. It is possible to click on existing entities to define constraints of tangency or perpendicularity.

30503-20240220-093214.png

2 entities Arc – Draws an arc constrained by entities. Click 2 entities and/or waypoints. Click a third point to indicate the shape chosen among the possible solutions.

298-20240220-093214.png

Center Arc – Draws an arc by its center. Click a point to define the center. Then click a point to define the radius (and the first point). Click a third point to define the aperture angle of arc.

30504.png

3 Points Arc – Draws an arc constrained by 3 entities. Click 3 entities and/or waypoints.

350-20240220-093214.png

Tangent Arc – Draw an arc tangent on one extremity. Click an extremity then click a waypoint.

20023-20240220-093208.png

Curve Draw a NURBS curve. Click the waypoints.

224-20240220-093214.png

Rectangle - Draws a rectangle defined by 2 points. The 2 points represent a diagonal of the rectangle.

224_2-20240220-093208.png

3 Points Rectangle - Draws a rectangle defined by 3 points. The 2 first points represent one side of rectangle; the third point defines the width (or length) of rectangle.

224_3-20240220-093208.png

Center Rectangle - Draws a rectangle piloted by its center. Click a point to define the center. Then click a point to define half the length (or width). Click a third point to define half the width (or length).

228-20240220-093214.png

3 Points Oblong – Draws an oblong by 3 points. The 2 first points define a side of the oblong, the 3ed point is the width (or length) of the oblong.

228_2-20240220-093206.png

Center Oblong – Draws an oblong piloted by its center. Click a point to define the center. Then click a point to define a half length (or width). Click a third point for the half width (or length).

20009-20240220-093208.png

Ellipse – Draws an ellipse. Click 3 points to define its center, the major radius and the minor radius.

20004-20240220-093208.png

Helix - Draws an helix. Click 3 points to define the center, the starting point and the radius.

30534-20240220-093208.png

Polygon – Draws a polygon. Click 2 points to define the center and the radius.

30590-20240220-093214.png

Drawing - Adjusts the drawing by deleting the selected part, or by keeping it (SHIFT key)
