3X Z Level with Facing

cbl482-20260225-110022.png

The 3-axis Z-level with facing cycle is a new addition to the 3 axis finishing. It is a hybrid strategy that unifies two distinct cycles parallel plane and Z-level into a single, seamless operation. Like other cycles in this suite, it is multi-threaded, allowing it to calculate efficiently across all CPU threads for significantly faster computing times.

These new cycles identifiable by the blue 3x badge are part of an optional package for 3-axis milling.

Key Points

  • Faster Computing: The multi-threaded nature of the cycle allows for rapid processing of complex geometry.

  • Optimized Machining: The cycle is designed to minimize time on the machine by including rework calculations and optimizing tool movements.

  • Versatility: It allows for the machining of both sloped surfaces and flat faces within the same cycle.
