Definition
GO2cam allows up to 100 % stepover of the tool diameter. To remove all the material with such a stepover, the toolpaths includes peckings or smoothed loops (Alpha or Omega).
With maximum stepover, the machining time for this operation is optimal and the toolpath is stil very safe.
Example with peckings pointed out with a yellow ellipse. These motions are not always optimal.
To define smooths loops, choose the option you need between alpha or omega and enter the value of the radius needed ( Radius of HSM loop).
When you define large overlaps in the pockets, there may have some peaks of toolpaths in corners. You can define a radius on the side contour pass for deletion of sharp angles.
