Cycle: Plunge Contouring
Definition
Choice to program a toolpath with only plunge machining or with upward and downward machining.
By default, the option is set to No, which means that the toolpath is done only with plunge motions.
In this case, you can define a retract distance to protect the tool during the retraction motion to the next pass.
If you set the option to Yes, the toolpath will be continuous on the profile. No retract distance is necessary.
