Definition
Retract distance relative to the indexing angle to plunge in the hole.
This parameter, only available with the indexable insert bar, is obligatory to position the tool correctly.

The tool goes down inside the drilled hole with the insert already positioned. Consequently, you have to enter an excentration value regarding the drilling diameter, the tool shank diameter and the final diameter of the tool. |
