Definition
The calculation of the depth of the tapping can be done at tip or at diameter.
On the left: calculation at tip of tap tool. On the right: calculation at diameter of tap tool. This new type of calculation generates other improvement: the tap tool has a new parameter Chamfer Height. If the value is 0, the chamfer is the pitch of tool.  |  |
In the case of standard holes, it is advised to calculate at diameter, it will respect exactly the size of the holes (in red).
