Cycle: Plunge Pocketing, Plunge Contouring
Definition
It is the distance of tool retraction between two passes. The aim of this option is to protect the tool during the retraction motion between the two passes.
In the plunge contouring, this option is available only if there is no upward machining. In this case, the retract distance is applied at each pass.
In the plunge pocketing, the calculation is automatic. At the beginning of the machining, the retraction of tool is not possible. GO2cam lies the retraction automatically as soon as there is enough room to make it.
