Distance of tool retraction between 2 passes.
The aim of this option is to protect the tool during the retraction motion between 2 passes.
In the plunge contouring, this option is available only if there is no upward machining. In this case, the retract distance is applied at each pass.
In the plunge pocketting, the calculation is automatical. At the beginning of the machining, the retraction of tool is not possible. GO2cam appGO2cam lies the retraction automatically as soon as there is enough room to make it.
Plunge Contouring: retracts are done at each pass. | Plunge Pocketting: retracts are done only for the last passes, where the tool can retract. |
