Definition

This parameter enables the option of Rigid Tapping, if Yes is selected. Upon selection of the option, the Z Step (Ap) parameter appears.

Rigid Tapping

Rigid tapping is a tapping method where the spindle rotation and Z-axis feed are electronically synchronized to match the thread pitch.
This allows accurate, high-speed threading without using a floating chuck.

Z Step (Ap)

This is the Z increment between each pass. It corresponds to the cutting of the total depth. If the incremental depth is greater than the maximum depth of pass of the tool, there is a warning message.
