Slopes Reworking

Cycle: Finishing - Shape

Definition

It is applied to inclined surfaces to improve surface finish and dimensional accuracy. It corrects residual tool marks or material left from previous operations. The process targets slopes within a defined angle range and uses optimized toolpaths or adapted tools to ensure uniform machining quality.

The stepover tool ratio and stepover value (Ae) must be defined to control the lateral spacing between tool passes. These parameters determine the overlap between adjacent toolpaths, directly influencing surface quality and machining efficiency.
