It refers to the retract distance relative to the indexing angle to plunge in the hole. The tool goes down inside the drilled hole with the insert already positioned. Consequently, an excentration value has to be entered regarding the drilling diameter, the tool shank diameter and the final diameter of the tool. |

This parameter, only available with the indexable insert bar, is obligatory to position the tool correctly.
