Angle/distance computing + tool radius
This parameter defines whether the tool radius is taken into account when calculating Lead-In and Lead-Out angles and lengths.
Yes – The tool radius is included in the computation. The system automatically adjusts the resulting values so that the toolpath reflects the actual movement of the tool center with compensation applied.
No – The tool radius is not considered. The values entered are applied directly, without adjustment.
Radius computing + tool radius
This parameter defines whether the tool radius is considered when calculating the Lead-In and Lead-Out arc radii.
Yes – The arc radius is adjusted to include the tool radius, ensuring a correct tangential toolpath.
No – The arc radius is used as entered, without considering the tool radius.
When switching between Yes and No, the calculated total value is automatically updated. The updated value is displayed below the input field, allowing comparison between the entered value and the computed result.
Enabling computation with the tool radius allows:
accurate application of tool diameter compensation (G41/G42)
correct tangential entry and exit movements
consistency between the programmed parameters and the actual machined result
